Dr Yong Peng San is a senior implant clinician, dental entrepreneur and mentor who has dedicated his career to advancing ethical, evidence-based and patient-centered dentistry in Malaysia.
Since founding SmileBay Dental Group in 1999, he has guided its growth with a strong commitment to clinical integrity, professional development and long-term patient welfare. With nearly 20 years of implant experience, Dr Yong has placed and restored more than 8000 dental implants, managing cases ranging from single-tooth replacement to complex full-mouth rehabilitation.
His multidisciplinary experience spans implantology, prosthodontics, periodontics, orthodontics and oral surgery. He has particular expertise in advanced implant surgery, bone and soft-tissue grafting, sinus augmentation, immediate implant placement. All-On-4 and All-On-X rehabilitation, severe bone-loss management and implant complication treatment.
Dr Yong established SmileBay Signature Advanced Implant Centre at Weld Quay as dedicated centre for complex implant and full-mouth rehabilitation. The centre brings together advanced diagnostic, digital planning and surgical technologies to deliver precise, predictable and coordinated treatment for patients with challenging dental conditions.

Born and raised in Raja Uda, she is the ‘go-to’ dentist in the neighbourhood from simple to complex dental solutions.
