A multi-disciplinary practitioner with nearly 20 years of implant experience, Dr Yong is an expert in full mouth rehabilitation with his vast knowledge in prosthodontics, orthodontics, periodontal and oral surgery.
In 2013, he was one of the few pioneer dentists in Malaysia to establish a full scale digital dental lab with three master technicians from Europe. This ensures that every production of veneer, crown and implant prosthesis meets the highest quality that SmileBay has set in place. Today, the digital dental lab is operated by six talented local technicians handling cases from Dr Yong and SmileBay’s team of dentists to deliver natural looking prosthesis with precise fitting and fast production, at times within the same day!
Dr Yong has been trained by various implant professionals upon completion of the Maxi-Course by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, one of the renowned implant course in the US. In 2006, he began his implant journey with the world’s leading implant brand, Straumann Implant. His relentless pursuit to upskill in implantology steered him into completing the Comprehensive Implant Training from University of Southern California, USA. He has since successfully placed more than 5,000 implant prostheses over the past 18 years. In recent years, Dr Yong administers advanced bone grafting and implant placement such as All-On-4 implants for patients with severe bone loss. He is an expert in sinus graft, thin alveolar ridge bone graft and treatment of implant complications.
His passion in dentistry and vision to provide world class facilities and services to his patients lead him to form SmileBay group in 1999. Today, he dedicates his time mainly to implant clinical practice and training his dentists while his capable management team runs the group.
A dentist with excellent bedside manners, filled with empathy and constantly finding solutions to help his patients no matter the difficulty of a situation are the phrases his patients would use to describe Dr Yong.

Being a Dean’s List student from Malaysia’s most prestigious dental school, Dr Lim is a smart and talented dentist, striking the perfect balance in strong acumen and emotional intelligence. Born and raised in Raja Uda, she is the ‘go-to’ dentist in the neighbourhood from simple to complex dental solutions.
Driven by her strong sense of ethics and compassionate nature, Dr Lim strives for conservative yet comprehensive solutions to her patients. She finds the feeling of renewing a patient’s oral health and their quality of life to be extremely rewarding.
Her desire for continuous improvement led her to attend the comprehensive implant training from University of Southern California in 2018-19. She is also a fellow and master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.
